Purpose Built
Our brand new, purpose-built, temperature-controlled, Laser Technology Centre utilises the latest high volume production equipment and purpose-built systems designed to meet our customer’s specific medical component requirements.
With the capability to laser-cut features in tube from 0.20mm Ø to 20mm Ø, and with a minimum 0.012mm kerf width, we can meet the needs of most medical device component designs.
- The Laser Technology Centre is located in a brand new purpose built temperature controlled, clean manufacturing environment.
- 4-axis tube laser cutting (providing off-axis profiles on four separate systems.
- High precision flat-bed micro-laser cutting
- Micro laser welding incl. automated welding systems (0.1mm spot size)
- Laser marking – metal & plastic with distinct matt black finish
- Laser cutting – Stainless Steel and Nitinol
- Laser ablation – engraved surface text, features or mould keys

Our laser technology capabilities have allowed XL Precision Technologies to provide our customers with rapid development support and high volume production supply. We currently ship over 4 million laser cut components per year.

Ultra hi-speed motion systems ensure complex patterns and features can be laser cut in tubes from 0.3mm (0.012”) to 13.0mm (0.52”) diameter.
